Medina Entertainment Center

Overview:

From DJ Mike H:

There's a perfect door to load in from the side of the venue. Medina Entertainment Center is a pretty huge building, so moving your stuff in from the front will be a pain. If you walk into the main ballroom and look at the door behind your stage, it will take you to a boiler room and from that boiler room, there is a door you can load your equipment in. It takes no time, ask about the best place to load in when you talk with the venue over the phone.

You can meet the wedding party just outside the main ballroom for the Grand March. There's a hall that separates the restaurant from the ballroom and that will be the ideal spot.

Once you're all set up, it's pretty smooth sailing. It's a good sized room, but not too big and it's rectangle shaped with no quirks. There should be no reason to have to move tables for the dance floor and cocktail, dinner and dance are all in the same room with the same set up.

Load In:

There is a door which leads to a boiler room on the side of the venue. Ask about this on the call. You might have to walk through the venue and you'll find a door right behind your stage. That will take to you to the boiler room and then from there you'll find the door you can load in from. I don't remember if they have a cart you can use, I didn't use one as it wasn't a bad load in from that door.

Challenges:

There are lots of people and events that happen at Medina Entertainment Center. It's a huge place, but the ballroom itself is a nice size. There is a chance your music will competing with somebody else, but it shouldn't be a problem, especially during the dance.

Extra Venue Call Questions:

Where can I load in from?

Where is the ballroom?

Are there any other events happening at Medina Entertainment Center on this day?
