This is an outdoor venue and you'll be set up inside of a tent. Your table will be set up where the dance, which is about 50 feet from where the tables for dinner begin (depending on the size of the wedding). I like to move the speakers a little bit closer to the dinner tables to ensure the sound for speeches is good and loud.

Once the dance gets going, be sure to keep an eye on the volume. There is a volume limit there. I don't think they have a specific decibel limit (they didn't when I was there), but that's a good thing to ask during the venue call, because that may have changed.

Sometimes, the cocktail hour will be outside of the tent, meaning you'll have to set up a speaker outside of the tent and move it over once you make the announcement for people to move to the tent. If you do a ceremony, it could be ceremony location, then cocktail location, then to the tent. It's a fair bit of moving, but not overwhelming if you strategize. Have everything set up in the tent and move a speaker for the ceremony/cocktail. Feel free to ask for the mini-system as well if you have a ceremony.

Load In:

The parking lot is about 200 yards from the place you'll set up, but you can take your car a bit farther down to start moving equipment. You'll be about 100 yards away or so. 

Challenges:

Your table is away from the dinner a bit. You'll have to move a speaker towards the dinner tables to get good sound for speeches and even background music. This might take an extra XLR cord. 

Cocktail hour takes place a long ways from your main area. Get out there and set up a speaker and use the wired microphone in the speaker to make the announcement for people to move to the main dinner/dance area.

Although you're in a tent, this venue is entirely outside. Be aware of weather conditions and ask about where the nearest outlet will be.
