Overview From DJ Matt R: Load in happens through their parking ramp or through front door. Check with venue contact to see which they prefer. May vary based on events that day. Carts available. Cocktails in foyer area outside the main room. Large area, so single speaker will have limited coverage.  House mic generally available.  Pretty standard hotel set up. Load-in Parking ramp or through front door. Call ahead to see which they'd prefer and ask where exactly which street it is found on. Challenges Cocktail hour is separate from main ballroom. Ask if they have speakers in the foyer area which you can plug an iPod or our laptop into. If they do not, use a speaker out in the foyer. Raise the speaker up so the sound is not absorbed by all the bodies in the foyer and the sound will carry better. It's downtown, so give yourself extra time to get there.
