Earle Brown Heritage Center
Overview:
From DJ Mike H
There are several different ballrooms for you to set up at Earle Brown, be sure to know exactly which one you're going to before you arrive. Also, there is a good chance you could be competing with another wedding, although they should be pretty far away from where you'll be.
Ceremony is usually outside by the fountain, so be sure to get there early to set your gear up outside. It's also a good idea to ask ahead of time if they will have a table set up for you both in the reception area AND ceremony area.
From my experience, cocktail/dinner/dance are all in the same location and you should not have to move. However, I cannot be certain. It's a good idea to ask ahead of time.
The rooms are rectangled and shouldn't throw any curveballs at you. The size of the rooms are good for DJs and I don't think you'll have much problems once your set up.
Load In:
Not a terrible load in. You'll notice there's many doors at the Center, so find which one is closest to where you'll be set up, park outside that door and bring your gear in.
Challenges:
Not a terribly challenging venue, but it is a pretty large location. Be sure to go over all the basics beforehand so they know exactly what they'll need from you.
Extra Venue Call Questions:
Which ballroom am I setting up in?
Do you have a venue microphone I can use for speeches?
