Muse Event Center

Muse Event Center is a new event center located in the North Loop by Downtown Minneapolis. The venue space is pretty large and was a club before being changed to an event center. The venue requires you to plug into their sound system and use their speakers. It may seem difficult, but they actually have an AV tech (named Jon) that works at every single show to ensure you'll be able to plug into their system and be ready to go. Typically he arrives two hours before each show. 

The load-in is pretty simple, you can park on the street in front of the entrance of the venue and then load the equipment. They likely won't have a cart for you, but I don't think you'll need one. If you'd like one, let me know and I can get you one of our collapsable carts.

The ceremony/dinner/dance all occurs in the same main ballroom. You'll be set up on top of a stage facing the entire space. The cocktail hour is in a different location (upstairs), but you can still play music from where you're set up downstairs on the stage, upstairs for the cocktail hour! You'll have to work with the AV tech, but according to their venue manager, it's pretty simple. So basically, you'll be set up in the same spot the entire time. 

The current venue manager was intern for Bellagala a couple years ago, so she knows quite a bit our company and we want to be sure to put on a good impression for her. If you're running late, please call and let them know. She said people being late without calling is her biggest pet peeve. 

Challenges:

You'll be patched into their system and won't be using you speakers at all. This can be challenging, but you'll just have to work closely with the AV tech and make sure you call the venue beforehand.

Not a terribly challenging layout and the fact you can play music upstairs for the cocktail hour while being downstairs on the stage, makes things very helpful.
